Qantas Wallabies v Ireland Rugby Test

In the first Test of the 2008 Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series, the Qantas Wallabies with new coach Robbie Deans at the helm, take on Ireland to win back the prestigious Lansdowne Cup in Melbourne on Saturday 14 June.

The Telstra Dome blockbuster will see the Qantas Wallabies out to avenge their 2006 defeat at the hands of the Irish in Dublin.

The Melbourne Test marks the kick-off to another exciting Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series, with the Qantas Wallabies going up against neighbours and fierce rivals the All Blacks, as well as 2007 Rugby World Cup Champions the Springboks in the Tri Nations Tournament, as well as 2007 Rugby World Cup semi-finalists, France between June and September.

Will Robbie Deans begin his run as Qantas Wallabies coach with a win, or will the Irish and their proud band of supporters spoil the party?
